At NESC, we offer more than just a team for your daughter to play on. We are a premier softball training academy dedicated to the development of young athletes. Our full complement of programming spans all levels of play, from beginner to advanced, ensuring that every player receives the appropriate training to achieve their goals.

Personalized Training Programs

We pay close attention to each player's progress and needs, ensuring they are always placed in the right program level. Our director of training continually assesses your daughter's development and offers adjustments to her training as appropriate. Our programs include:

NESC Rec (Introductory/Beginner Level) Ideal for families wanting to sample the game, our Rec programs are supported across the state, including East Bay Rec, Woonsocket LL, and South Kingstown LL. This low-cost, local option requires minimal commitment and no prior experience.

Practice Player Program (Beginner Level) Designed for beginners who are ready to get more serious, this program expands training to include weekly organizational practices and level-appropriate team events like scrimmages and league games.

Red Team Program (Intermediate Level) Our Red Team program offers a travel team experience, with local tournaments and weekly team events, providing an expanded competitive environment.

Black Team Program (Advanced Level) By invitation only, our Black Team program includes advanced training sessions run by our directors. Players at this level compete in regional and national tournaments, representing NESC in the most competitive environments.

What Sets Us Apart ​

• No Pick-Up Players: We do not use pick-up players from outside our program. Instead, we have a swing system that allows our NESC players to gain additional game time and experience by playing on different teams within our organization.

• No Cuts: We do not cut players. Instead, we place them at the appropriate level and develop their skills.

• Qualified Instructors: Every player in our program receives high-quality training from qualified instructors. This is built into our training package, ensuring all facets of the game are covered.

• Exclusive Training: NESC instructors are available exclusively to our members for private lessons and specialty clinics.

• Indoor Facility: Membership at NESC includes access to our private indoor facility, designed exclusively for youth girls' softball. This facility is not open to the public, ensuring a focused training environment.
